A place where creation and dialogue are woven in silence and light This place has two functions within a single atelier space. 1. Norton Art Studio Norton Art Studio is a base for creation and learning by Akira Norton and Cole Norton. It includes their own creations, atelier activities, classes, workshops, figure drawing, ink wash painting, photography, and learning spaces. 2. Gallery Nebulae Gallery Nebulae is a space for exhibitions and dialogue within Norton Art Studio. It hosts exhibitions by other artists, curations, art events, artist talks, small cultural gatherings, and tea ceremonies. The name Gallery Nebulae is intended to be a neutral and open gallery name, not just referencing the individual name Norton, but also conveying a sense of openness when introducing other artists' works. The atmosphere of the site should be quiet, poetic, warm, and minimal. It should avoid being too flashy, commercial, or like a corporate site. The design should convey light, whitespace, dialogue, Japanese aesthetic sensibilities, and the atmosphere of the atelier. While primarily in Japanese, include some natural English expressions to communicate effectively to international visitors.
